I bring over 17 years of experience guiding teenagers and their families through the possibilities for each student’s next chapter.

My career in education began in 2005 and includes 9 years on the leadership team of the admissions and financial aid office at San Francisco University High School, a professional certificate in college admissions and career planning from UC Berkeley, 5 years as a college consultant for The Bodin Group, 2 years as the college counselor at San Francisco Waldorf High School, and over 10 years mentoring students in the college application process. Many years of building college lists and designing plans for students from a wide range of academic, extracurricular, and personal backgrounds have given me deep knowledge and insight to draw from when guiding each student.

I value my network of college consultants and higher education professionals tremendously and am a member of the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling (WACAC) and an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA); I follow the ethical practices put forth by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). I visit college campuses locally and nationally as often as possible and regularly pursue professional development.

I hold a B.A. from Dartmouth College, an M.L.A. from Stanford University, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany. When I’m not working with students, I enjoy reading fiction and nonfiction, dancing Cuban salsa, spending time with my family and friends, and hiking the hills of the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
